Premium Chardonnay grapes were harvested by long-standing growers for Trius Winery. 100% of the juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks, and then aged for 7 months with French and American oak. This medium-bodied Chardonnay offers a bright lemon yellow hue with a bouquet of yellow apple, star-fruit, Asian pear, lemon, oak and cream. Rich flavours of custard, oak, baked apple and spice linger on the palate. This wine is a fabulous sipping Chardonnay for every day. Serve with chicken wraps; chicken pot pies; roast chicken; turkey on focaccia with creamy mayo; light cream sauces on pasta or seafood; macaroni and cheese; grilled whitefish; breaded fish fillet with baked potato; poached salmon; or salmon quiche.
